Munich, Germany, March 6th, 2017 – The ZETTLER electronics GmbH, a manufacturer and distributor of electromagnetic and electronic components, introduces its new AZ 6960 relay series. Housed in a low profile package with a height of 12,5 mm, the sensitive subminiature power relay guarantees a creepage and clearance distance of 8 mm as well as basic insulation according to IEC 60664-1.

A 5kV coil-contact dielectric strength and a 1kV dielectric strength between open contacts ensure that the AZ 6960 is robust enough for even highly susceptible applications. Contact ratings for resistive loads are 2,000 VA or 320 W for maximum switched power, 8 Amp for maximum switched current and 24 VDC or 250/400 VAC for maximum switched voltage. Coil voltages range from 5 up to 60 VDC.

It meets IEC 61810-1 for incorporation into low voltage equipment, IEC-60335-1 for household appliances as well as UL 508 for industrial control panels. Contacts are available in silver nickel, silver tin oxide and gold plating for high performance and reliability. Additionally, the relay is available in an epoxy sealed version for automatic wave soldering and cleaning allowing reliable usage in demanding environments.

MUNICH, 22 February 2017 – ERS electronic GmbH, the innovation leader in the market of Fan-out Wafer-Level Packaging (FOWLP) debonding and thermal test solutions for semiconductor production, will showcase its latest technology developments at Semicon China in Shanghai (March 14 – 16).

ERS is resuming its presence at Semicon China after 12 years with the introduction of several new products that significantly increase FOWLP debonding and wafer test throughput. „With many independent technology developments, the semiconductor equipment market of mainland China has reached a high degree of maturity and is developing impressive dynamics,“ explained Klemens Reitinger, Managing Director of ERS electronic GmbH. „At the present level of technological differentiation, highly sophisticated products and specialized expertise are in high demand. This translates into excellent prospects for our business.“

Video presentations of four new debonding machines for FOWLP (Fan-out Wafer-Level Packaging) manufacturing processes will take center stage of ERS“ Semicon China“s presence. These machines – type designations ADM330, WAT330, MDM330, MWAT330 – are covering the entire range of debonding and warpage adjust application environments from prototype lab to fully-automated high-volume production, offering carefully graduated combinations of high throughput and flexibility for the respective environments. Based on ERS“ long-standing experience with design and applications of such products, the four new machines have already been put through their paces at ERS“ development facilities and are now ready for market launch with immediate start of series production. „Fully automatic machines that ensure higher productivity and flexibility for the user – this is what currently is the focus of our customers“ demand,“ commented Reitinger.

„Turn toward the future“ – IPC APEX EXPO invites specialist visitors to San Diego, California from 14 to 16 February 2017 under this banner. Rehm Thermal Systems is once again present at this major electronics trade fair this year, and presents its latest plant technology for reliable reflow convection and condensation soldering at booth 1901.

Rehm presents the following new thermal system solutions to visitors at IPC APEX EXPO:

VisionXP+ Vac: The 2-in-1 solution for reflow convection soldering
The VisionXP+ convection soldering system combines many further developments, in particular with regard to optimising energy efficiency and reducing emissions. Customers can save up to 20 % energy in electronics manufacturing with this system, consuming an average of 10 tonnes less CO2 per year. The vacuum option makes condensation soldering processes possible with or without vacuum for the first time – all in one system! The VisionXP+ Vac reliably vacuums gas inclusions and voids during soldering while the solder is still in its ideal molten state. With a vacuum of up to 2 mbar, void rates of less than 2 % can be achieved.

ViCON: Simple system operation and optimum process traceability
Rehm presents the new ViCON software in the area of smart data and networking, featuring a touch-screen user interface. The German machine manufacturer has developed an innovative solution for easy operability and optimal traceability in the VisionX series. The software can, for example, monitor all values that have changed, or collect and statistically evaluate alarms in order to avoid errors and to optimize machine settings.

CondensoXC: top performance for best reflow condensation soldering
Reflow condensation soldering with the CondensoX series carries out the soldering process by means of hot steam and the Galden® medium. Large, heavy boards can be processed without a problem since the heat transfer is up to ten times higher than with convection soldering. The use of the injection principle and the control of temperature and pressure ensure accurate and diverse reflow profiling. Rehm presents the new CondensoXC at the trade fair. The plant is a particularly space-efficient, high-performance system in the CondensoX series and ideal for laboratory applications, small batch production or prototyping. Void-free soldering can be easily implemented in all systems of the series with the vacuum option.

Dortmund/Germany, 17 January 2017. As of now, tde trans data elektronik GmbH is offering tML fibre-optic modules with full dust and laser protection with the same high packing density as before: During the plugging process, integrated shutters open automatically through a special mechanism and close again after the removal of the connector. As the shutters seal the ports dust-tight, external dust caps are no longer necessary. At the same time, the shutters protect the eyes from harmful laser beams. In contrast to other products available on the market, which only offer plastic shutters, tde couplings are equipped with shutters made of metal. In conjunction with Fault Finders, the shutters let harmless light beams pass through and make ports belonging together visible. tde tML fibre-optic modules with self-closing shutters are available for LC connector types of the product lines tML-Standard, tML Xtended and tML 24.

„Cleanliness plays a central role, especially in relation to high transmission rates in fibre-optic connection arrangements“, explains Andre Engel, CEO of tde. „But especially while on the job, network technicians are likely to forget about the dust caps after repatching, either because they are not available at the moment or have been lost altogether. However, dust contamination of the delicate connector end-faces of the ports is often the reason for performance losses and can, under certain circumstances, lead to the complete deterioration of the port.“

tde is able to remedy this situation: The new tML fibre-optic modules have ports with integrated shutters which open and close automatically during the plugging process, without even touching the ferrule of the connector being plugged in. The delicate connector end-faces are thus protected from contamination of any kind and the transmission rate remains consistently high. By permanently installing the shutters into their fibre-optic modules, tde has made external dust caps redundant. At the same time, the shutters serve as a protection from laser beams: Even when utilizing long range transceivers, the human eyes are never at risk. tde has made this possible through their use of metal instead of plastic shutters, which is unique in the industry. The metal shutters offer another advantage: If maintenance staff couple light via Fault Finder, the exiting light becomes harmless to the human eye and also makes ports which belong together visible. The integrated safety shutters in no way limits the packing density.

As of now, tde has tML fibre-optic modules with integrated safety shutters for LC connector types of the product lines tML-Standard, tML Xtended and tML 24 in its portfolio. The network expert is planning to offer its other fibre-optic products with LC adapters, which include splice boxes, with the option of shutter couplings.

The tML – tde modular link system

tML is a patented modular cabling system consisting of the three main components module, trunk cable and module rack. The system components are a 100% made, pre-assembled and tested in Germany. They ensure a plug-and-play installation on site – especially in data centres but also in industrial environments – within a very short time. The core of the system is the MPO/MTP and telco connector at the back, which can connect at least six ports with 10 GbE or GbE performance all at once. Fibre optic and TP modules are available which can be used together in one module rack with a very high port density.

Innovations „Made in Germany“

Starting with the foundation of the company in 1991, tde has been demonstrating the innovative capabilities of its portfolio: In 2014, the network expert introduced investment-protecting and highly flexible cabling systems for quick and easy migration up to 100 G, including the tML Xtended System and the revolutionary tML 24 System. With the tML 24 System, the packing density of the connection technology was significantly increased and the cable volume notably reduced. Network technicians now only need to install half as many cables and connectors compared to previous solutions. The packing density is unique for migration up to 40/100 GbE: Since 96 MPO ports can be realized in one height unit, up to 2304 fibres can be used when fully equipping the tML 24 System.
