The SCHEMA Content Delivery Server – Trendsetting Development for Editing Systems

New city, new opportunities: This year, the tekom Annual Conference will be hosted for the first time at the Messe Stuttgart.

From November 11-13, 2014, the tech doc industry will be presenting itself at the largest specialist trade fair for technical documentation on the fairgrounds near the Stuttgart airport, and invites its guests to attend lectures and take tours of the fair.

This is exactly why you can look forward to the event: just like the tekom Annual Conference, the world of editing systems is changing, too. No longer does your documentation process end with the production of multilingual, multi-format documents – a whole new topic is increasingly the focus of industry: How to distribute your service information, marketing material or training content efficiently, specific to various target audiences, and independent of devices? SCHEMA Group, XML editing system manufacturer from Nürnberg, provides answers to the new trend. With the SCHEMA Content Delivery Server, SCHEMA presents a product which extends editing systems with targeted distribution capabilities.

At the SCHEMA Booth C07 in Hall 2, guests will be shown online and offline scenarios on various platforms such as web portals, Windows readers, apps for iOS and Android devices. In the Blue Box, the SCHEMA Group will be offering a colorful and varied presentation program about the SCHEMA product portfolio. Apart from the lectures on efficient and target audience-specific distribution with the SCHEMA Content Delivery Server, the newest features of SCHEMA ST4 2014 will be presented. The comprehensive editing system for small and large editing teams undergoes continuous development: in addition to strong content management functionality, it also offers modern layout management. This allows technical editors to define layouts for XML data with the Page Layout Designer without needing programming knowledge, to make final layout changes in a generated document with Layout Recall, to mix reusable graphics and text with the Call-Out Designer, and to perform review workflows in a layout preview in SCHEMA ST4 with the annotation functionality.

„We aim to offer a broad program for the fair visitors and guests with our Blue Box,“ explains Stefan Freisler, CEO of SCHEMA Group. „HTML5 lectures are part of the portfolio, as well as topics about CMS introduction and related questions. Our partner T3 GmbH will contribute with information about the T3 Learning Content Manager, one of our standard SCHEMA ST4 extensions. Visit us at our Boot C07 in Hall 2. We’re looking forward to seeing you, and will be delighted to answer your questions!“

There is indeed much to look forward to – Stuttgart, the tekom Annual Conference in the new fair location, and the new features from the SCHEMA Group at their fair booth.
