CXC Drivers Compete in iRacing Virtual Simulator Tournament

Pro Driver & CXC Sim User Townsend Bell involved in Las Vegas IndyCar Crash

Professional Indycar driver Townsend Bell, a client of CXC Simulations http://www.cxcsimulations.com/, who participated in IZOD IndyCar Series Championship, was involved in a 15-car wreck at Las Vegas Motor Speedway on October 16th, 2011 that resulted in the loss of star Indy racecar driver Dan Wheldon“s life.

After placing 11th at the Kentucky Indy 300 on October 3rd, the California native looked forward to a stronger finish in his next racing event. Unfortunately, the IndyCar Championship served to highlight the immense dangers involved in professional auto racing.

Early in the Las Vegas race, Bell was caught up in a tragic 15-car wreck that resulted in the loss of star Indy racecar driver Dan Wheldon“s life. It was „certainly the most violent crash that I“ve been involved in,“ Bell said in a Today Show interview after the accident.
