InternetInnovators.com - New blog-community launches at dmexco

InternetInnovators Blog

It will deliver extensive news coverage of the exposition collected by 14 field-working reporters.

Internet of things, Big Data, Content Marketing, Realtime Advertising – Fragments of a new revolution or nothing but empty buzzwords circulating though the global village? The blog-community InternetInnovators.com contributes to answer that question.

Initiated by dmexco founder Christian Muche, Professor Dr. Jürgen Seitz and master“s degree-students of the Stuttgart Media University, InternetInnovators.com aims at all people who are interested in digital innovations and marketing-news. The blog provides far-reaching analysis and discussions about „the internet of everything“, digital marketing-trends and the future of digital industries – based on the knowledge of experts, entrepreneurs and students.

The new blog-community starts with extensive news coverage of the dmexco, the largest exposition and conference for the digital economy. 14 community reporters are going to report on InternetInnovators.com about the event via e-mail, Facebook, Instagram and Twitter from 10th to 11th of September 2014. „InternetInnovators.com is a great addition to the dmexco and underlines the event by establishing an hybrid-event experience online and offline“ says Christian Muche, Director of Business Development, dmexco.

Due to the high internationality of the dmexco, the blog publishes both German and English articles. Therefore the numerous international visitors of the dmexco are also part of the community. „We will discuss with digital experts intensively. The students of the Master Studies „Electronic Media“ are preparing full speed ahead for the project“ adds the responsible supervisor of the project, Prof. Dr. Jürgen Seitz, HdM Stuttgart.

Everybody who cannot attend the dmexco or want to form his visit even more interactive, can register for the newsletter at InternetInnovators.com and follow the profile on the common Social Media Channels.

STUTTGART MEDIA UNIVERSITY

How are books printed? How is information archived and documented? What does “communication” mean? How are virtual worlds created? What happens behind the scenes in TV studios? What is important in the design of packaging and how does advertising actually work? Students at Stuttgart Media University are concerned with these and many other questions.

Since the 1st September 2000, Stuttgart Media University has brought together the combined know-how of the former University of Printing and Media, an educational institution with over 100 years of tradition, and the University of Librarianship and Information whose history reaches back to 1942. With 15 Bachelor’s degree programmes and 6 Master’s degree programmes, a part-time MBA, and a doctoral programme, Stuttgart Media University covers a broad spectrum of media expertise: from printed media to electronic media, from media theory to media production, from media design to making media available.

At Stuttgart Media University, students learn in modern lecture theatres as well as in workshops and studios, at printing machines or behind the camera. Exciting practical projects in the University’s laboratories or in cooperation with partner companies complement theoretical knowledge and scientific working methods. Stuttgart Media University has two campuses: lectures and other taught courses in the Faculties of Printing and Media, and Electronic Media take place on the main Campus in Stuttgart-Vaihingen. Degree programmes in the Faculty of Information and Communication are taught in the City Centre Campus in Wolframstraße in the centre of Stuttgart.
